Why stable government? India, largest democracy in the world goes for poll this year(2024). 96 crore of people votes for forming a stable government here in India. Number of eligible voters is three times the population of USA. Polling happens on wide summer day. People stand long in queue bearing hot summer to elect their representative. Huge money is pumped in to the system for conducting elections. Bureaucratic resources are used widely for conducting fair elections. Why elections are planned meticulously? What’s the need to conduct fair elections? These are the two queries which needs to be addressed wisely to know the reason behind this broad function.
